I wanted to share my understanding in here.
It seems that the Fukushima nuclear plant (with a Boiling Water Reactor)

is having a problem with cooling:

The cooling systems are responsible for cooling down the reactor vessel and keep them away from meltdown (Chernovyl case).
So, let's hope that they'll manage to keep that reactor cooled down and the meltdown will be nothing else but science fiction in this case.
